As a self-taught programmer with an aptitude for learning, I’ve picked up many valuable ideas and practices along the way. I’ve built full-stack web applications from scratch, modernized legacy systems, and deployed DevSecOps pipelines. My technical toolkit currently centers around JavaScript (Node.js/Deno, Vue, Express, Vite), though I’ve worked in everything from FORTRAN to VB to Java to C# over the years. I’m a strong believer in test-first development, security by design, continuous feedback loops, and Lean software development practices. I believe the best way to learn is by doing — and the best way to coach is by working alongside the people you’re coaching.

I’ve worked across financial services, healthcare, insurance, food and beverage, and consumer technology companies. I specialize in modernizing legacy systems, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, and teaching teams to build better software from the inside out.
